This is a sacred ceremony, holding the power of lineage, intuition and community for the mother-to-be.

As part of this ceremony, the female family members and/or friends gather with the expectant mother to provide her with strength. The connection with the ancestors, spiritual forces and Mother Earth herself creates a safe space in which the pregnant woman can feel held and protected. She experiences the honor and the deeper meaning that such an important step deserves.

 

In the ceremony, a small bundle of good wishes is packed and given to the pregnant woman. During the days and hours of the transition from woman to mother, she can open it and let it work for her. The bundle is then closed again and later given to another pregnant woman. My shamanic teacher Anyu brought this ceremony from Mexico and passed it on to myself and Indira. It is usually held 1-3 months before the birth and takes around 90-120 minutes.

 

Currently available in Berlin. It is a donation-based offering. Donations are asked from the participants. ​​
