MOTHERS RAGE

An invitation for rage to find its loving place.

Parenthood is both beautiful and intense — revealing our brightest and darkest places. In this wild, tender journey of raising a child, emotions arise with a rawness we might never have known before.

Rage is one of them.

It visits us suddenly — in moments of exhaustion, overwhelm or helplessness. Often followed by guilt or shame. Yet beneath it lives something sacred: life force, truth and the need to be seen.

We’ll explore how to bring this powerful emotion into safety and expression so it becomes a creative and guiding force in our parenting, our relationships and our daily lives.

What to Expect

A fluid, open format that weaves together theory, embodied perception, and shared reflection:

  • A gentle approach to anger as an emotion

  • How anger moves through the body and the nervous system

  • Therapeutic and energetic perspectives on anger

  • Space to share everyday experiences with your child

  • Practical impulses for expressing and regulating anger in healthy ways — for yourself and with your children

About my co-creator Gesine

I’m Gesine, a trained family therapist, educated at the German-Danish Institute for Family Therapy and Counseling (DDIF).The core values of my work are equal dignity—a term coined by Jesper Juul, which for me means taking younger people as seriously as older ones. Even if not everyone has the same rights and responsibilities, everyone has the same dignity—and congruence. In the language of Carl Rogers, this means authenticity or inner coherence. For me, it means being committed to honesty with myself and bringing my lived experience into the work, also as a way of setting boundaries.

I am trained as a trauma support practitioner for children, in Deep Listening (after Rosamund Oliver), Focusing (after Gene Gendlin), and Somatic Experiencing (after Peter Levine).
